The European Broadcating Union have just given their annual news press conference on the Eurovision song contest.
Here is a brief summary of it all:
The 2008 Eurovision Song Contest will provisional take place on May 22 and May 24.
All songs for 2008 will have to be submitted at a Heads of Delegation Meeting on March 17 & 18.
The EBU hopes to implement a two semifinal system in time for Eurovision 2009.
The winners of this year's contest will have a special ''Winner's Tour'' in the week after the contest.
They will visit their own country, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, SPain, Germany & Greece.
The winners will also have their footprints set in a street in Helsinki.
This year's televoting will be opened by a secret celebrity.
The words ''Europe, start voting'' will again be used to start off the voting.
This year's voting period will be 15 minutes long in both shows. It will not open from the start of the show.
There will be two reprisals of the songs to assist viewers during the voting period.
